Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
(For the purpose of this policy, a consumer is defined as any natural person who engages in a legal transaction primarily for personal, non-commercial, and non-professional reasons.)

Cancellation Policy

Right of Withdrawal
You have the right to cancel this contract within 14 days without providing any reason. The cancellation period is 14 days from the date on which you, or a third party not acting as the carrier and nominated by you, takes possession of the goods. This applies in the following circumstances:

You or your nominated third party takes possession of the goods delivered in a single order or the last item if the goods are delivered separately.
You or your nominated third party takes possession of the last partial shipment or piece if the goods are delivered in multiple partial shipments or pieces.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MODERN DAYFARER UG, Belforstr. 6, 50668 Cologne, Germany, Email: support@moderndayfarer.com) by sending a clear statement (e.g., a letter sent by postal mail or email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. While you may use the provided sample withdrawal form, it is not obligatory.

You will bear the direct costs of returning the goods. Please note that we do not cover any costs for returns.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication regarding your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse you for all payments received from you, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your choice of a delivery method other than the least expensive standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day we receive the notification of your withdrawal. We will use the same means of payment for this reimbursement as you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise; no fees will be charged to you as a result of this reimbursement.

We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the returned goods, or you have supplied evidence of having sent back the goods, whichever is earlier.

You must return or hand the goods to us immediately, and in any event not later than 14 days from the day you notify us of the withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You will bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusions and Limitations
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts:

For the delivery of goods that are made to the consumer’s specifications or are clearly personalized.
For the delivery of goods which may deteriorate or expire rapidly.
For the delivery of sealed goods which are not suitable for return due to health protection or hygiene reasons and were unsealed after delivery.
For the delivery of goods which are, after delivery, according to their nature, inseparably mixed with other items.
For the delivery of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed at the time of the contract's conclusion, which can only be delivered 30 days after the conclusion of the contract, and whose value depends on fluctuations in the market.
For the delivery of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines with the exception of subscription contracts.
For the delivery of sealed audio or sealed video recordings or sealed computer software, if the seals were removed after delivery.
