The main idea was to create a lighter and more sporty looking version of the DAYFARER backpack.

To archive this we used a VX-21 fabric (VX-21 is a technical fabric which is exceptionally durable, waterproof and super lightweight. It is developed and distributed by the sailcloth makers Dimension-Polyant).

But after the first prototype, I decided to make a few more changes to make the DAYFARER backpack look even a bit more sporty. I change the water bottle pocket to a very durable and stretchy nylon/spandex fabric, I left the two YKK aquaguard zipper on the front and side visible because they blend in very nicely with a bit shinier VX fabric and made the front pocked hidden.
