A classic low profile 6-panel cap, made from 100% Ventile® high performance cotton, which makes the cap wind and water repellent, yet also breathable. This makes it the perfect choice for an active lifestyle and versatile to perform, look and feel great in every scenario - from trail running to everyday wear.

The Fidlock buckle gives the cap a unique touch and makes it easily adjustable.

About Ventile®:

Ventile® cotton is a high-performance cotton fabric that is breathable, water resistant and windproof. 
The natural cotton fiber enables a wearing comfort (breathability), which can never be reached with synthetic materials.

It is spun, twisted, woven and dyed/finished in Switzerland, following the highest quality standards. The yarns are made of purely extra long staple fibers which are only 2% of the world's crop.

Ventile® History:

Ventile® cotton originally was created to save the lives of Air Force personnel flying over the Atlantic in wartime England.
Pilots needed a garment that was cool and comfortable in the cockpit, but warm and impenetrable if it came into contact with water. With nothing that offered this functionality on the market, a team of dedicated scientists pioneered a radical solution at the Shirley Institute in Manchester and, after several months of testing, Ventile® was born.

Ventile® extended life expectancy in the sea tenfold, which made rescue a real possibility. 80% of pilots who fell into the sea would now survive.

Ventile® was also used in the first summit of Everest in 1953 and by Sir Ranulph Fiennes when he crossed the Arctic from 1979 – 1982.

Until now, the fabric is been mainly used by Air Force units and Arctic explorers.
